Reception have enjoyed finding out about Chinese New Year celebrations. We have enjoyed retelling the Zodiac story, made our own dragons and even performed our own dragon dance.

Today in Reception we explored how we could use the internet safely. We used Stop Motion to tell a story about how everyone can belong and play with us as there is no outsiders in this school.
Reception have been exploring how to make six and seven this week. We enjoyed using our loose parts to find different ways. We even recorded our addition facts.
Our Year 2’s had a wonderful time at West Boldon Lodge this week.
They consolidated their history topic on the Great Fire of London by building their own Pudding Lane and setting it on fire (safely and controlled!) timing how long it took to burn down.
They also had the chance to make bread and bake it on the campfire.
Reception enjoyed finding out about road safety this week. We know we must stop, look, listen and think.
