We are so excited that The Handwriting Fairy has visited us! She has a special door and her own fairy garden filled with golden stars and fairy dust! She is watching to see who is trying so hard with their writing and leaves special stickers in our books. We are very excited on a morning to see who she has visited! We have even made The Handwriting Fairy her very own tea party in our fairy cafe!

Reception have a new Fairy Kindness Cafe in their fairy garden. We have had great fun setting up a fairy tea party. We have made pizzas, fairy tea, flowery soup, pop cakes and elf coffee! The children are hoping the fairies will visit tonight and enjoy their special treats!

Today we enjoyed our first games club afternoon!
The children had a wonderful time exploring the games – with lots of turn taking, patience, kindness and resilience shown!
Thank you to parents for the kind donations made into school.

Reception enjoyed a visit today from Ben’s Mummy who talked to us about Hinduism. We found out about Hindu Gods and Goddesses and looked at photographs of special celebrations and traditions. We compared these to Christian celebrations. We enjoyed looking at Ben’s Mummy’s special Indian wedding Sari and gold jewellery.

Reception have enjoyed decorating gingerbread men but something terrible happened! They ran away! We caught them in the camera running away! We think they were being chased away by the cunning, gluttonous fox! We have been outside looking for clues and have made wanted posters. We are writing letters to the fox asking him to return them! We are going to build traps to try and catch the fox! We are planning to lure him back so we can capture him!

Our Year 2 gymnasts represented our school brilliantly at the inter Schools Gymnastic Competition this week. Our of 11 schools, we come 5th overall. We couldn’t be prouder! Well Done Everyone.
